Chief System Engineer Aerospace (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Technical and disciplinary management responsibility for the overall system engineering
• Help to bring the product to the next level in optimizing the technical concept steadily and in finding innovative solutions for complex systems
• Coordination of product development activities in order to meet customer requirements, international aerospace regulations as well as time, cost and quality expectations
• Implementation and continuous improvement of development processes and internal standards
• Collaboration with Management and cross-functional teams to define uniform standards and to achieve best possible results
• Ensuring an efficient reporting line and a transparent communication flow between C-Level, Stakeholders and the development team
• Resource planning in combination with mentorship and the identification of training needs
• Management of department budget

Qualification:

• Successfully completed studies in (Aerospace) engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics or any related field
• Longterm experience in Aerospace Product Development from conception until SOP
• First disciplinary leadership experience
• Hands-on experience in developing an aircraft system, either with focus on Software, Hardware or Mechanics
• Good knowledge of international certification standards
• First experience in Startup-environment would be an advantage
• Business Fluent English skills, knowledge of German is a plus
