Senior Power Electronics Engineer (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible of hardware and power electronics development for inverters in the automotive sector
• Dimension and select core components, optimize designs for performance, efficiency and cost
• Specify and conduct development-related tests, document designs and perform worst-case analyses
• Assist in the creation of PCB layouts and contribute to the development of the technical safety concept, conducting functional safety analyses (e.g. FMEDA, DFA)
• Implement development processes in accordance with Automotive Spice and ISO26262 standards
• Collaborate closely with the electronics, design and hardware test teams

Qualification:

• Successfully completed education at a university or technical institute in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Technology or related fields
• Several years of professional experience in power electronics development
• Strong expertise in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and EMC-compliant design
• Knowledge in the field of functional safety, such as ISO 26262
• Proficiency in Altium Designer, LTSpice, Mathcad, Matlab is advantageous
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
