Sales Solution Manager Enterprise Software (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create a profitable Software and Services pipeline by researching and recommending new opportunities to the sales teams in the affiliates
  • Develop effective sales plans to meet sales targets set by the leadership team
  • Maintain the pipeline and the forecast to required operational standards
  • Sell products and projects by actively establishing relationships with prospects
  • Head responsibility for complete technical team performance during pre-sales phases
  • Demonstrate the value of our Lab Management products to business, technical users and IT
  • Act as trusted advisor and provide onsite, hands-on assistance to help our customers achieve their business outcomes with our tool chains by providing technical information and personal experiences/guidance
  • Share expertise and best practices throughout local and global pre-sales and sales organizations, that support and contribute to new opportunity identification
  • Help shape products and future directions by constantly screening competition and markets, communicating market needs and solution opportunities back to the development teams
  • Coaches sellers with a “challenger mentality” by prompting sellers to engage early and lead with new insights on how to grow the customers’ business
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge

Your Profile:

 

  • Bachelor or Master´s Degree in Computer Science, computer software/computer systems engineering, electronics, information technology
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of practical work experience
  • Ability of conducting business value assessments that create compelling value propositions for IT and business stakeholders at all customer levels involved
  • Specialized in Designing and Implementing Data Management Solutions and Architectures, being familiar with the main data manipulation languages and the principles of modern database design, performance and scalability (SQL, NON-SQL, Hadoop, etc.)
  • Ability of setting up cloud technologies for demos and POCs
  • Public speaking experience, presentation skills to react on all customer management levels
  • Able to coach and inspire an international team of our internal Solution Sales and Pre- Sales Professionals as well as external prospects
  • Ability to travel more than 60%
  • Lead from the front, personally engaging at higher customer level(s) to support and coach teams on opportunity discovery and acceleration
  • Strong negotiating skills
