Sales Solution Manager Virtual Testing (f/m/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • Create a profitable Software and Services pipeline by researching and recommending new opportunities to the own sales teams in the affiliates
  • Develop effective sales plans to meet sales targets set by the leadership team
  • Sell products and projects by actively establishing relationships with prospects (includes assessing customer needs, re-engineering business processes, designing and developing toolchains underpinning the customer-specific value creation)
  • Demonstrate the value of our products to business, technical users and IT
  • Act as trusted advisor and provide onsite, hands-on assistance to help our customers achieve their business outcomes with our tool chains by providing technical information and personal experiences/guidance
  • Share expertise and best practices throughout local and global pre-sales and sales organizations, that support and contribute to new opportunity identification
  • Help shape products and future directions by constantly screening competition and markets, communicating market needs and solution opportunities back to the development teams
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge

Your Profile:

 

  • University degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science
  • Proficiency and demonstrated history in vehicle or powertrain development (acquired in e.g. SOP car calibration projects, series development of controllers, real-time systems, areas of simulation, control design, physical modelling, code-generation technologies, and/or systems engineering)
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting expertise
  • Several years of practical work experiences at a big OEM or tier-1 engineering service provider
  • Maintains the pipeline and the forecast to required operational standards
  • Coaches Seller’s with a „challenger mentality” by prompting Seller’s to engage early and lead with new insights on how to grow the customers’ business
  • Lead from the front, personally engaging at higher customer level to support and coach teams on opportunity discovery and acceleration
  • Plan and supervise evaluation projects
  • Strong negotiating skills is a plus
  • Able to coach and inspire a diverse team of Solution Sales and Pre- Sales Professionals
  • Very strong presentation and communication skills
